Well my April trip has been postponed to May 19-26 because of work. My plans are to drive the death valley road out of Big pine and camp along the way in the Inyos for a night then for a couple of days exploring eureka valley. Head to death valley and camp up off of trail canyon for a couple of days. Then maybe a couple of days in Beatty exploring around the Bullfrog hills and Grapevines. My questions are these to anyone who might know. I just have a chevy S10 2 wheel drive, will that be OK along the big pine road, and what is the weather like in the eureka valley mid late may Hot? i have been to DV in may and it was a furnace. Also what are crowds like this time i know its memorial day weekend, does eureka get lots of visitors, not that i dont like people but i go there to find quiet and not a bunch of crowds. Also any suggestions of places to explore there other than the dunes. Thanks people
