With 35 years experience of driving junk(and some good vehicles), I have driven with the heater on, frequently, as an "emergency procedure" for lack of/or failure of the radiator...It gives the engine heat an outlet that will get you a few more miles...I DO recommend having the windows down! (joke, here, humor!! laugh!!!) Also, I don't drive until the motor gets hot enough to crack the head unless I plan on buying a new one. Walking when it is 120 or riding with the heater on when it is 120? I prefer riding....
However, regarding muriatic acid?? Not done that! Hope I don't need to!
