I would definitely call DVNP service and make absolutely sure that you are understanding all of their policies and can bring your camels in. Once you have absolutely verified this with them, if you are just a "group of friends" out for a camel ride, there probably is not a problem. If you
are running a commercial tour with your camels you would need to get a permit from them to do so. Don't go on the ssumption of what you have read or heard - call them direct and get the info first hand to avoid any embarrasement or misunderstanding.
