I have used a Garmin Legend with Mapsource software for three years. I would like more memory. It is fine in Desert, but not able to hold much of city maps. One with a Memeory stick chip or card would be nice. You could download on to two or three and have it all.
I have also used it with a laptop, connected with supplied cable, and it works. It's like having a bigger screen.
